Why do we use fat?

Cake without fat is just bread. Fat "shortens" the gluten
strands in flour making a softer, more tender cake.

Does it really matter what type of fat is used?

Yes. We use real butter from real cows.
Butter is the flavor of baking. There is no substitute.

Are there trans fats at CakeLove?

No, not ever, not once, never.
Trans fats simply won't happen @ CakeLove.

Are we health conscious?

Absolutely -- that's why we use all natural ingredients.
