I’m excited to announce big changes with CakeLove!
First, we’re taking down the CakeLove online store and moving cake jar sales over to our sibling site, Don’t Forget Cake!
For those who don’t know, CakeLove hatched a twin a few years ago and it’s called Don’t Forget Cake. Over there we launched with bigger cake jars and a limited selection of flavors. But things have grown and now we have new and exciting flavors—like Tres Leches—available in the DFC online store.
Second, CakeLove will step back from marketing products in 2022 to focus on R&D of some new ideas that we’ve been playing with and want to tweak and fiddle with before we raise the curtain on them. We’re planning for a debut in 2023 and will make any announcements right here, so keep an eye out.
Finally, I want to say to anyone and everyone who has supported my entrepreneurial journey since I opened CakeLove 2002—I want to say a huge THANK YOU!!! to you—and that I’m really thrilled to say I look forward to sharing what I think will be another layer or side or chapter to the adventure I’ve experienced by following my passions. CakeLove has always been about the relentless pursuit of passion, something I believe in very strongly. Life is for living out your dreams and sharing the excitement of the adventure with those you care about. It never goes according to plan or in any kind of straight line whatsoever. But its the change-ups that make us human, memorable and stronger.
